Choose Medicare with coninfidence. We’ll help you every step of the way!
Original Medicare (Part A – Hospital / Part B – Medical)
- Part A helps cover inpatient care in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities (not long-term care), hospice care, and some home health care services.
- Part B helps cover services like doctor visits, outpatient care, certain preventive services, durable medical equipment (e.g., wheelchairs), and other medically necessary services.
Medicare Supplement Plans
- Medicare Supplement Plans (also known as Medigap) can help fill the gaps in Original Medicare (Part A and Part B) by covering things like copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles.
Medicare Advantage Plans (Part C)
- Medicare Advantage is an alternative to Original Medicare (Part A and Part B) offered by private insurance companies that are approved by Medicare. These plans combine the benefits of Part A (Hospital) and Part B (Medical) into one plan, and they often offer additional benefits not covered by Original Medicare such as dental, vision, hearing, and wellness programs.
Prescription Drug Coverage (Part D)
- Part D helps cover prescription medications. It is provided through private insurance companies and is available either as a stand alone plan (if you have Original Medicare) or included as part of a Medicare Advantage plan
